Position Overview

We’re seeking a Video Editor Intern to assist in creating and editing engaging content for our YouTube and TikTok channels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong video editing skills, and familiarity with the software development and IT solutions industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a remote, fast-paced environment and build a portfolio of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in editing video content for YouTube and TikTok, ensuring high-quality and engaging visuals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand video content needs and creative direction.
  • Edit raw footage and add graphics, transitions, and effects as needed.
  • Help create and optimize video content to adhere to platform-specific guidelines for different platforms.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing new video ideas and concepts related to software development and IT solutions.
  • Review and revise edited videos based on feedback to ensure they meet project goals and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with current video trends and best practices, particularly within the tech industry.

Qualifications

  • Mastery of any video editing software.
  • Familiarity with Camtasia, Canva, or CapCut.
  • Basic knowledge of any graphic design software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of video formats and compression techniques.
  • Familiarity with the software development and IT solutions industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
  • Ability to take direction and feedback positively.
